Soft User

ACCRUAL FLOW
 
  • When a SOFT User login he is directed to the Planner page as shown below.
  • Use “HELP” option for any help required to book tickets.
  • Total points available in his account .
  • Railway, SBI Purchase points .
  • Redeemable points shown in "Yellow".
  • Non-Redeemable points shown in "Green".
  • In the Plan My Travel Page the user fills in all the mandatory fields for traveling.

  • On clicking Find Trains,the user is directed to the below page.
  • The User gets a train list along with available classes for booking

  • If user selects class "First Class AC(1A)/AC 2-tier sleeper(2A)/AC chair Car".
  • User gets a train list.
  • If class selected by user matches with one of the valid classes for accrual that is First Class AC(1A)/AC 2-tier sleeper(2A)/AC chair Car , then he will get a train list and seat avalability for that train

  • After that user will click at "Book" Ticket Button under the availabilty option, then he will get the Shubh Yatra Passenger Details page.

  • Enter Loyalty Numbers of the Passengers in-case they are SOFT members to accrue points to their accounts.After
    entering the Loyalty Numbers click on fetch details button to fetch the details.
  • In case if you want to add more loyalty member then repeat the same process, mentioned above.
  • In case you do not have any SOFT members travelling you can skip this page to enter normal passenger List in the next screen(Booking Page).

  • You can add more passengers who are non-SOFT members from the next screen(Booking Page)in addition to below added SOFT members.
  • User gets the Passenger Details page over there he can fill all the Mandatory fields of Passengers who wants to travel, He can also Open Passenger list through link provided on Passenger details entry page And can add passenger details from Passenger list.

  • In case the user selected an invalid class no accruals would take place to the loyalty members traveling on that ticket.
  • The user gets two options to choose from
  • Make payments
  • Replan

  • If the user select The make payments button accrual flow takes place ie , he is taken to payment gateways and after successful payments , the booking details are updated in the database wherein loyalty transaction details are inserted with pending status in the database(only for non-blocked and partial blocked accounts…ie. Not for fully blocked accounts) which would be credited to the passengers who are loyalty members after 5 days of journey.

  • The user is displayed the normal booking confirmation page.
  • Now user can print ERS by clicking on Print ERS button.

Precautions(Accrual)
 
  • In case the user selected an invalid class no accruals would take place to the loyalty members traveling on that ticket. In case the class filled by user does not matches with selected class for accrual.
  • Points remain pending the Loyalty Members account which would be credited to the loyalty members account after expiry of 5 days from the date of journey.
  • The point accrual will take place in their accounts as per their individual(Loyalty member only) base fare for off season 10% & 4% for peak season.
  • The loyalty number should not be repeated for the same ticket.
 

REDEMPTION FLOW
 
  • An active Soft user will not be shown the Book Ticket through Redemption option.
  • In case he is redeeming for the first time from the partner points his partner points should be > 500 points.
  • or In case he is not redeeming for the first time from the partner points his partner points should be > 300.
  • or In case he is redeeming from railway points his Total railway points should be > 500.
  • In the Plan My Travel Page the Active Soft User would get the Redemption option and fills in the travel details.
  • User checks the Book Ticket through Redemption and press the Find Train Button.

  • Only 1AC, 2AC tier are valid classes for redeeming the ticket.Select the "Redemption" option and click on the valid class .

  • If User selects the class for which redemption is allowed and clicks on go he gets to see the train details and the availablility list. For Redeeming ticket The Logged-in Loyalty member needs to travel on that ticket. No other concession would be allowed & No Points would be accrued to your account in case of redemption."
  • Then the user selects the train and clicks on book ticket button.

  • Details are displayed and the user clicks on book ticket button.
  • User gets the Passenger Details pre-filled with his loyalty information.Please fill in the loyalty number of the person logged in to ensure Redemption of ticket on his account. You can enter more passengers on this ticket as a normal procedure.
  • He fills the loyalty no. and berth preference and submits the info.

  • Then if Total Partner Points+Total Indian Railway Points+Total Purchased points>=Total Ticket Fare. The user should be displayed the Total fare details and total Redeemable point to-date and gives Make Payment and Replan Button.

  • User Clicks on Redeem Your Points Options and is asked to enter password for his account.

  • On entering a correct password user gets the Redeem Details like ticket fare, service tax and total points redeemed.

  • User clicks on redeem button he is displayed the ticket confirmation page.

  • user is allowed for redeeming a ticket for Only First Class AC & AC 2 tier are valid classes for redeeming the ticket.
  • Only Confirmed/RAC tickets can be booked. For Redeeming ticket The Logged-in Loyalty member needs to travel on that ticket. No other concession would be allowed & No Points would be accrued to your account in case of redemption.
  • Please fill in the loyalty number of the person logged in to ensure Redemption of ticket on his account.You can enter more passengers on this ticket as a normal procedure.
  • If "Total Partner Points "+ "Total Indian Railway Points"+ "Total Purchased points" > =Total Ticket Fare.The user will be displayed the Total fare details and total Redeemable point to-date.
  • User gets the Redeem Details like ticket fare, service tax and total points redeemed.
